Spiral Wound Gasket/Metal Spiral Wound Gasket

The metal winding pad is the gasket with the best elasticity in the semi-metal sealing pad. It is made of V-shaped or W-shaped thin steel strip and various filling materials (graphite, asbestos, tetrafluoride) alternately. Its structural density can be made according to different locking force requirements, and the internal and external steel rings are used to control its maximum compression degree. Especially suitable for uneven load, easy relaxation of joint force, periodic changes in temperature and pressure, impact or vibration occasions. It is the static seal of valve, pump, heat exchanger, tower, manhole, hand hole and other flange joints. It is widely used in petrochemical, machinery, electric power, metallurgy, shipbuilding, medicine, atomic energy and aerospace and other fields

Basic metal winding pad, metal winding pad with outer ring, metal winding pad with inner ring, metal winding pad with inner and outer ring, heat exchanger (with rib), special-shaped metal winding pad.

Features of Spiral Wound Gasket

The high quality SUS304, SUS316 ("V" shape or "W" shape) metal belt and other alloy materials and graphite, asbestos, PTFE, non-asbestos and other soft materials overlap each other spiral wound, at the beginning and end of the metal belt fixed by spot welding.

  • Wide range of working conditions. It can withstand high temperature, high pressure and adapt to ultra-low temperature or vacuum conditions. By changing the material combination of gasket, the chemical corrosion problem of gasket by various media can be solved.

  • Strong stress compensation ability. In the temperature, pressure fluctuation frequently station, sealing performance is stable and reliable.

  • Excellent sealing performance.

  • The surface precision of flange sealed in contact with gasket is not high.

  • Easy installation, low pre-tightening pressure gasket.
